Carbondale man wanted on weapons charges arrested
CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – A Carbondale man wanted on firearm and weapons by a felon charges has been arrested.
Gary Lee Starks, 60, of Carbondale was arrested on Nov. 1. He had been wanted since Oct. 11 when police responded to a call of shots fired in the 500 block of East Willow Street.
No injuries were reported, but a vehicle was struck by the gun shots.
Starks was arrested at the Jackson County Jail on a warrant for aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
