Cape Girardeau police to host National Night Out at Arena Park

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Police Department will host its 2026 National Night Out celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Arena Park.

The free community event will feature games, food, demonstrations, vendors and opportunities to meet local officers and community partners.

The department promoted the event with a video featuring Patrolman Bobby Newton and Spider-Man from NEXT LEVEL Cosplay LLC.

Families and community members are invited to attend. No superpowers are required.
