Gordonville Fire Protection District adds 3 pet oxygen masks
GORDONVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – The Gordonville Fire Protection District added three fur life kits to their first out fire engines.
These kits act as pet oxygen masks that can be used on pets that are conscious and need to be resuscitated after losing consciousness from exposure to the dangerous toxic fumes. The kits can also be used on different animals.
Pet instinctively look for a hiding place to protect themselves instead of running away from the fire.
With donations from a handful of community business owners, the department completed one of its fundraising goals to add three Wag’N O2 Fur Life kits to the first out fire engines.
