LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Federal agents discovered $400,000 worth of drugs, after busting what one official called a “rather novel narcotics smuggling method.”
The liquid meth was stored in 136 condoms, hidden inside four pumpkins.
Officials say the stash was found in an SUV coming into Texas from Mexico.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection says 44 pounds of narcotics were seized, adding to the 161,000 pounds worth of meth confiscated this year alone.
Earlier this week CBP officials in Arizona also announced they had seized around 2,100 fentanyl pills that were tucked into tamales.
