Recall Alert: Potato salad, kids’ books and dressers
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Hy-Vee is recalling all varieties and all sizes of its Hy-Vee potato salad and Mealtime potato salad.
The grocery store chain says it’s because of a presumptive positive microbial result on the line that the potatoes were processed on.
The expiration dates are between July 31 and Aug. 4. As of the posting of this recall, there have been no reports of illness or complaints involving the products.
Costumers who have purchased any of these products are asked not to eat it. You can throw it away or return it to your local Hy-Vee.
Scholastic is recalling over 185,000 of its Shake Look Touch books. The company says the pompoms on the book can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
If you have this book, you are being asked to cut the pompoms off and submit a picture to the company. Once the pompoms are thrown away, you can keep using the book.
If you shop at Costco, Samson International just recalled over 5,400 of its Cayden 9 drawer chests.
The company says the chests are unstable, and if they are not anchored to the wall, they can tip over. This poses entrapment hazards that can result in death or serious injury.
Consumers who have the recalled products should contact Samson for a full refund or a free tip-over restraint kit. Samson will also provide free in-home installation of the tip-over restraint kit, upon request.
You can also return the item to any Costco warehouse for a full refund.
