1 arrested after police chase in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – One person was arrested and faces charges after a police chase in Cape Girardeau Friday morning.

A Cape Girardeau police officer tried to stop a vehicle around 9:25 a.m., but the driver didn’t pull over. The officer chased the vehicle, but decided to stop the chase, according to Officer Bobby Newton with the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

A few minutes later vehicle was found at Themis and Mt. Auburn.

One person inside the vehicle was arrested at 9:32 a.m.
