1 found dead after residential fire in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – The state fire marshal is investigating a deadly fire in McCracken County.

First responders responded to a residential fire around 5:08 p.m. on Saturday, January 20 in the 11000 block of Blandville Road.

When deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrive, the home was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters with Concord Fire Department and West McCracken Fire Departmen got the fire under control.

The owner of the home was located dead inside.

McCracken County DES responded and assisted at the scene with traffic control.

The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.

The name of victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
