793 confirmed, 200 probable cases of COVID-19 in Cape Girardeau County

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The number of positive COVID-19 cases in the area continues to increase.

The Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center reports 793 confirmed and 200 probable cases of COVID-19 in the county as of Jan. 20.

The health department offers these tips to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

• Clean your hands often.
• Cover your mouth and nose.
• Avoid close contact when you are sick.
• Make sure all your vaccinations are current.
• Eat healthy balanced meals.
• Practice good body hygiene.
