Altercation leaves woman injured, suspect identified

CAPE GIRRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – On May 15, 2025, at approximately 8:22 a.m., police responded to a domestic assault report.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who alleged that Christian Clay-Seay had assaulted her as she attempted to leave a residence.

The victim reported that Seay struck her in the head and face with a closed fist after she sat on his vehicle to prevent him from leaving.

A witness corroborated the victim’s account, stating that they saw Seay strike the victim and heard her yelling for him to stop.

The victim sustained a laceration on her knee and elbow, as well as a large bump on her head. Seay had scratches on his face and nose.
