MISSOURI (KBSI) – The American Legion Legacy Run will bring hundreds of motorcyclists through several states, including Missouri, as part of a five-day ride supporting veterans and military families.
About 250 to 300 motorcycles are expected to travel from Lincoln, Nebraska, to Fort Knox, Kentucky, from Aug. 23-27 as part of the 2026 American Legion Legacy Run.
The annual charity motorcycle ride, organized by the American Legion Riders, raises money for the American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation. The foundation supports disabled veterans, military families and accredited American Legion service officers who help veterans and their families obtain benefits.
This year’s ride marks the 20th anniversary of the Legacy Run and coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States.
