Barkley Regional Airport to recommend SkyWest Airlines for commercial service

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The Barkley Regional Airport Authority Board will recommend SkyWest Airlines to provide commercial air service under the Essential Air Service program.

The recommended service would connect Barkley Regional Airport to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, with one-stop connections to 271 global destinations through a partnership with United Airlines.

SkyWest would operate 50-passenger CRJ-550 aircraft on the routes.
