Bell City Fire and Rescue respond to transformer fire

BELL CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – Bell City Fire and Rescue responds to transformer fire.
According to their Facebook page crews responded to an electrical transformer fire around 12:48 am farther out in the county on March 15, 2025.
Sheriff’s deputies found other electrical lines and utility poles down along with the transformer fire.
Rescue crew 1 responded and due to the nature of the incident crews were divided up.
All other available personal were assigned to designated areas within the district where they began looking for damage and assisting in reports from citizens.
Rescue crew 1 along with the electric company contained the transformer fire and damage in their area.
Rescue crews 2 and 3 completed damage assessments in their areas.
All areas and incidents were deemed under control in the area by Bell City Fire and Rescue.
