Budweiser Clydesdales to return for Very Merry Marion Christmas parade

MARION, Ill. (KBSI) — The Budweiser Clydesdales are scheduled to return to downtown Marion for the city’s annual Very Merry Marion Christmas parade for the first time since 2023.
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29.
Participants will travel from Marion Junior High School east along Main Street, around Tower Square Plaza and continue to Washington Elementary School.
Individuals, businesses, clubs and organizations interested in participating must register by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.
Registration is free, but space is limited. Late entries will not be accepted.
Applicants must complete the required registration forms and waivers and provide insurance information. The city will notify applicants by email after reviewing their submissions.
The Clydesdales’ appearance is weather permitting.
A public viewing event featuring the Clydesdales is also planned at The Pavilion of Marion before the parade. Organizers said additional details about the viewing opportunity will be announced in the coming weeks.
