Buncombe Grade School opening as storm shelter

VIENNA, Ill. (KBSI) — Buncombe Grade School will open Sunday afternoon as a storm shelter ahead of expected severe weather in the area.
Officials said the school will begin opening its shelter space at 2 p.m. for residents who need a safe place during the storms.
The shelter will remain available until the severe weather threat passes.
Residents are encouraged to monitor weather updates and seek shelter if conditions become dangerous.
Additional shelters expected to be available include Cypress Grade School, Vienna High School, Ozark Baptist Church, and Simpson Baptist Church.
