Cape Girardeau man faces multiple charges of child sexual abuse and more

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Corey Wade, 31, was booked into the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office on June 10, 2025, at 3:22 p.m.

He faces multiple charges, including:

Furnishing Pornographic Material to a Minor: two counts
Child Molestation: fourth degree, involving a child under 17 and an offender more than four years older
Endangering the Welfare of a Child: first-degree, involving drugs, first offense
Domestic Assault: second-degree, two counts
Statutory Sodomy: second-degree, two counts
Statutory Rape: second-degree, two counts

The document states that an individual disclosed the alleged abuse during a forensic interview on May 23, 2025.
