Cape Girardeau man sentenced to 2 life sentences for murder of 15-year-old girl
JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – A Cape Girardeau man was sentenced to two life sentences on Thursday after pleading guilty to the murder of a 15-year-old girl.
Circuit Judge Scott A. Lipke sentenced Isaiah M. Lane on June 20 to two life imprisonment sentences to be served consecutively.
Lane pleaded guilty in March to murder in the second degree (felony murder) and assault in the first degree for the shooting death.
The shooting happened August 24, 2019. A second victim was injured.
