Cape Girardeau police make arrest following burglary report
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities arrested Eleishia Peters, 35, on July 22 after responding to a reported burglary in progress in the 1400 block of Brookshire Road.
According to police, Peters allegedly entered a residence without permission, assaulted the victim and obtained a knife from the kitchen before being apprehended.
Peters faces charges including first-degree burglary, domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and property damage. She is being held on a $20,000 cash-only bond.
