Cape Riverfront Market to host Youth Entrepreneurship Festival on July 12

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Riverfront Market will host a Youth Entrepreneurship Festival on July 12 to encourage local youth to pursue entrepreneurship.

The one-day event, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 35 S. Spanish St., aims to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses.

SendAFriend, the event sponsor, will award up to three $500 grants to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 12 and 18 from Illinois or Missouri. The winners will be announced during the festival.

The grants can be used to cover business-related expenses such as overhead costs, marketing and equipment.

The Cape Riverfront Market is held every Saturday from May to October.
