Carbondale announces 2025 off the Rails Concert Series

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — The City of Carbondale has announced the lineup for its 2025 Off the Rails Concert Series, featuring six free concerts from August to October.

The series, a collaboration with Carbondale Main Street, will include performances by national and local acts, including Brass Queens, Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes, and Lucas Wayne & The Cottonmouths.

Two of the concerts will coincide with larger events: the Hemp, Hops & Shrooms Festival and the SIU Homecoming/Carbondale Halloween Festival.

The concerts will be held at the Downtown Entertainment & Events Plaza on Washington Street, with music from 6-9 p.m.
