Carbondale to host public meeting on rental housing code changes

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — The City of Carbondale will host a public interest meeting on Thursday, June 12, at 5:30 p.m. at the Carbondale Civic Center.

The meeting will discuss proposed changes to the rental housing section of the Carbondale Revised Code, based on input from a previous meeting held on April 3, 2025.

A draft of the proposed revisions is available for review. Questions can be directed to the City Attorney’s Office via email at cityattorney@carbondaleil.gov.
