Cave-In Rock Ferry back open after closing due to high winds

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI)- The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is back oepn after it temporarily closed due to high winds according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The ferry halted service about 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26.

Winds created hazardous conditions on the Ohio River at the ferry crossing.

The ferry resumed service at 7 p.m. It is open and operating on the regular  schedule.
