Charleston DPS officer injured while responding to crash on I-57

CHARLESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – A Charleston Department of Public Safety officer was injured while he was working a crash on Interstate 57 Tuesday night.

His patrol vehicle was struck from behind an 18-wheeler.

Officer Josh Maldonado has bee treated and released, according to the Charleston Department of Public Safety.
