Dexter, KY man faces drug charges after traffic stop in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Dexter, Ky. man faces drug charges after he was stopped for a traffic violation.

Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy N. Hopkins stopped a vehicle on Roosevelt Road in the Dexter community for a traffic violation on Sunday, Dec. 18 about 1:30 a.m.

During the stop, methamphetamine and syringes were located in the vehicle, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

Cory S. Oneill, 37, of Dexter, Ky. was arrested and faces charges of trafficking controlled substance 1st degree, 2nd or > -(< 2 Grams methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and various traffic related offenses.

Oneill was taken to the Calloway County Jail.
