MOUNT VERNON, Ill., (KBSI) — A dual-branded Applebee’s and IHOP restaurant is set to open in Mount Vernon on March 24.

The restaurant, located at 105 Potomac Blvd., will combine menu items from both brands, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options in a single location.

Guests will be able to order a mix of IHOP favorites, including pancakes and breakfast dishes, along with Applebee’s items such as wings, burgers and appetizers. The menu will also include select specialty items and cocktails.

Company officials said the concept is designed to give customers more dining options throughout the day.

“We are excited to welcome guests back, especially our long-time Applebee’s fans, to experience a new, unique dining option,” said Sara Harmon, vice president of operations for Dine Brands.

The restaurant will feature separate dining areas reflecting each brand’s style, along with shared common spaces.

The location is expected to be open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight.
