Eldorado hospital deals with flooding again

ELDORADO, Ill. (KBSI) – Staff at a hospital in Eldorado, Illinois are dealing with flooding again after severe storms Sunday night.

“Despite our best preparatory efforts, we experienced some water intrusion in limited areas of our building, primarily affecting our Emergency Department and clinic entrance areas,” according to a post on the hospital’s website. “Our dedicated staff responded quickly to address the situation, and we’ve already initiated cleanup procedures and have called in experts to assess any potential damage. Rest assured, we’re taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety and integrity of our facility. We remain committed to providing high-quality care to our community and will keep you updated on any developments that might affect your upcoming appointments. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to address this situation. The hospital received severe flooding damage during storms on Wednesday, May 8 and could not accept new patients.
