Fire department to host fish fry to help support new gear and equipment

CAMBRIA, Ill. (KBSI) – Cambria Fire Department will host Fish Fry to help acquire funding for new gear and equipment.

The Fish Fry Fundraiser is held annually and will take place on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cambria Fire Department.

This event is a fundraiser aimed at raising $10,000 to help purchase much-needed gear and equipment for the department.

Attendees will enjoy great food such as fish, sides and drinks while supporting the Cambria Fire Department.

“This fundraiser is vital in helping us maintain and upgrade our gear to ensure we can effectively respond to emergencies,” said Randall Simmons, Fire Chief of the Cambria Fire Department. “We rely on community support to help us continue providing top-quality service, and we can’t wait to see everyone come out for a great meal and a great cause.”

The fundraiser will be held at the Cambria Fire Department located at Cambria Fire, 103 S Maple St Cambria IL 62915.

Food will be first come first serve and donations are always welcome.
