Henderson man facing drug charges after traffic stop in Murray

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Henderson man faces drug charges after a traffic stop in Murray on Saturday.
Adam Newcomb, 37, of Henderson faces charges of operating on a suspended/revoked license, possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine) and prescription substance not in proper container.
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on N 12th Street in Murray on October 21 around 2:30 p.m.
The driver, Newcomb was found to be in possession of an illicit drugs which is a Class D felony, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
Newcomb was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
