Heritage Day coming to Cape Girardeau’s Red House Interpretive Center
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Red House Interpretive Center will host Heritage Day on May 17 to celebrate the history and cultures of early settlers in the old Cape Girardeau district.
The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and feature demonstrations of blacksmithing, flint knapping, lace making and wood carving.
Other attractions include a black powder gun display, mule jumping and music performed by Don Hahs.
