Homes, vehicles struck by gunfire in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities are investigating a report of shots fired in Cape Girardeau.

Police responded to the 1100-block of Bloomfield at about 7 p.m. on May 18 after receiving reports of gunfire. Officers collected evidence consistent with shots being fired and found that two vehicles and two residences had been struck by bullets.

The suspects had fled the area before officers arrived and remain at large.
