I-24 Eastbound Lane blocked in Trigg County due to vehicle fire

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — UPDATE: The roadway is clear, and all lanes are open.

A commercial vehicle fire has blocked one lane of Interstate 24 eastbound at the 68-mile marker in Trigg County.

Emergency responders and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews are on the scene.

Motorists are advised to self-detour by taking I-24 Exit 65/Cadiz to U.S. 68 and KY 117, and re-entering I-24 eastbound at Exit 73.

There is no estimate on when the lane will reopen. Updates will be provided as available.
