I-69 Cleanup: Crews tackle environmental work after commercial vehicle fire

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will perform environmental cleanup work today on Interstate 69 southbound near Exit 21 at Mayfield.

The work, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., will take place in the far-right exit lane between Exits 22 and 21.

Both lanes of I-69 southbound will remain open, and the Exit 21 ramp will be accessible.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution where workers and equipment are present.
