Jackson Middle School teacher recognized for exceptional dedication

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Jackson Middle School social studies teacher Tori Blaylock has been recognized for her exceptional dedication and commitment to her students and the school community.

Blaylock was nominated by her peers for going above and beyond her duties, demonstrating excellence in her teaching and sponsorship roles.

She was specifically praised for her collaboration with IEP case managers to support students with extra needs, as well as her empathy and patience in adapting her classroom to meet their needs.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Blaylock co-sponsors the school’s Lego and Robotics Team and the Student Council.

The recognition is part of the Jackson R-2 Leadership team’s efforts to acknowledge staff members who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their roles.
