Jackson native is finalist in ‘Greatest Baker’ competition
JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – A woman from Jackson, Missouri entered into the nationwide ‘Greatest Baker’ competition thinking she wouldn’t get in….but she did.
Not only did she get in, but she is now in the bottom 64 out of more than 100,000 competitors.
Breanna Neal is a Jackson native who has always loved to bake.
Neal recently moved to Piggott, Arkansas with her husband and two children where she is a stay-at-home mom and at home baker.
The Greatest Baker is national competition that is hosted by TLC’s Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro and other local bakers.
Thousands of bakers across the country are in the running.
The winning baker will have their work published in Bake from Scratch magazine, an opportunity to meet Buddy Valastro and a $10,000 cash prize.
Neal says if she wins, she would use the money to set up her own baking area where she could bake more and give hands on baking classes to all, including children.
To help Neal win she needs your vote. You can vote once a day and if you make a donation every dollar you donate will count as a vote and all proceeds go to the B+ foundation, a foundation which funds childhood cancer research.
