Juveniles arrested in connection with burglary at Cape Aquatic Center

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Police arrested three juveniles in connection with a burglary at the Cape Aquatic Center.

Officers responded to the center on July 14 after a report of a delayed burglary that occurred around 8:20 a.m. The suspects stole a key to the building during the break-in.

Police returned to the center around 10:45 p.m. that evening after a report of a burglary in progress. The three suspects fled on foot but were quickly apprehended by officers.

Police confirmed the suspects were the same individuals involved in the earlier burglary.
