Kentucky State Police ask public for info about Caldwell County homicide

CALDWELL COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Detectives have determined that the death of a 93-year-old woman found in her home was a homicide.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 received a call from Caldwell County dispatch around 7:11 p.m. on April 18 requesting assistance with a death investigation.

Dorothy D. Sparks, 93, of Princeton was found dead inside her home on South Jefferson Street in Princeton.

An autopsy is pending.

The investigation is ongoing by Detective Jacob Stephens.

She was later determined to be the victim of a homicide.

As investigators continue to work to obtain additional evidence,troopers request the public’s assistance in this investigation.

Anyone who was in the area of South Jefferson Street on April 18, 2024 and may have information pertaining to this case is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police, Post 2 at (270) 676-3313.
