Kris Jenner announces death of mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell

CALIFORNIA (KBSI) – Kris Jenner announced Thursday that her mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, has died.

In a social media post, Jenner described her mother as “the heart of our family” and credited her with teaching the values of love, kindness, resilience and the importance of family.

“There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye,” Jenner wrote.

Jenner said she will miss their daily conversations, her mother’s smile and laughter, and expressed gratitude for the sacrifices Campbell made throughout her life.

“Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that love like yours never truly leaves us,” Jenner wrote. “Your love will live on in our family, in our traditions, in every moment we are together, and in every life you touched.”

Jenner did not disclose Campbell’s age, cause of death or details about funeral arrangements.
