KY 408 in northwestern Graves County blocked after truck hit on railroad overpass

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – KY 408 in northwestern Graves County is blocked near the 2 mile marker after a truck hit on a railroad overpass between KY 440 and KY 339.

The railroad overpass is along KY 408 immediately east of KY 339.

Kentucky State Police and KYTC personnel responded.

A Canadian National Railroad engineer and crew have inspected the overpass and determined it is in need of repairs that will require some specialized equipment to be delivered to the site.

The road is expected to be blocked until 9:30 p.m.

A detour is available via KY 440 and KY 339 through Lowe’s.
