Major storms claim life of Poplar Bluff man
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – One fatality has been reported after storms hit the Poplar Bluff area over Friday night into Saturday morning on March 14, 2025.
Multiple homes and businesses received extensive damage in the Poplar Bluff area.
According to Coroner Jim Akers one life was claimed and was identified as 62-year-old Ronnie Ezell.
“His house was in the path of the tornado. His wife survived. His home is a total loss. They were in bed asleep when it hit” says Akers.
