Man arrested after sheriff’s deputy finds drugs during traffic stop in Graves County

SYMSONIA, Ky. (KBSI) – A traffic stop in Symsonia led to the arrest of a Junction City man on drug charges.
Graves County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Jones conducted a traffic stop on KY 131 in the Symsonia community on Sunday, December 17 around 3:50 p.m.
During the stop it was determined that the driver, Robert Cody Scott, 27, of Junction City had an active warrant for his arrest out of Grayson County for wanton endangerment in the 1st degree. Scott was arrested.
Methamphetamine was found in the driver’s floorboard of the vehicle that he was driving, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott was taken to the Graves County RC Center and then to an out of county facility.
Scott faces traffic offenses, possession of a controlled Substance 1st degree – methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and the wanton endangerment 1st degree charge out of Grayson County.
