Man arrested for drugs after traffic stop in Murray

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man faces drug charges after a traffic stop in Murray.
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Thursday, December 21 about 4 p.m. on N. 12th Street.
The driver, William R. Tubbs, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs, according to deputies at the sheriff’s office.
Tubbs, 45, unknown address faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense-methamphetamine (Class D felony), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession controlled substance 2nd degree-drug unspecified, possession of marijuana, no registration plate and failure to produce insurance card.
He was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
