Man arrested in connection with apartment fire in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A man has been arrested after connection to an apartment fire that occurred August 3rd.

According to a probable cause statement, Kijan Watts, the resident of the apartment, allegedly started the fire by piling items in the living room, pouring vegetable oil on top, and lighting a match.
