Man rescued from Mississippi River after jumping from bridge
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – A water rescue operation was launched Wednesday after a bystander reported a person jumping into the Mississippi River from the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge at 12:29 p.m.
Emergency responders swiftly rescued the individual from the water and transported them to a hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Authorities expressed gratitude for the successful outcome, thanking everyone involved in the rescue effort.
