Man wanted in Bollinger County arrested in Poplar Bluff

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – A man wanted in Bollinger County was arrested in Poplar Bluff on two counts of failing to register as a sex offender.

Shawn Marty was arrested on May 15 after an arrest warrant was issued for two counts of fail to register as a sex offender – 3rd offense, according to Bollinger County Sheriff Casey A. Graham.

An arrest warrant was issued for Marty on Thursday, May 11.

On Monday, May 15, Marty was taken into custody in Poplar Bluff with help from the United States Marshals.

Marty remained in custody in the Bollinger County Jail with a $50,000 cash only bond.
