Marshall-Calloway County Drug Task Force make arrests after drug bust

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Marshall-Calloway County Drug Task Force detectives have arrested several people after a drug bust.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office on November 12, 2024, Narcotics Detectives with the Marshall-Calloway County Drug Task Force executed search warrants at two separate residences in the City of Murray as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

The operation resulted in the arrest of four individuals on various drug-related charges, including possession and trafficking of methamphetamine.

While officers were completing the search for search warrants, one of the individuals was observed attempting to flush methamphetamine down a toilet in an effort to destroy evidence.

Four individuals now face charges.

Tricia N. Wages, age 34 of Murray, KY faces charges:
-Poss. Cont. Sub 1st Deg, 1st Off- Methamphetamine (Class D felony)
-Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
-Traff Methamphetamine –Conspiracy
Robert A. Babb, age 49 of Murray, KY faces charges:
-Tampering with Physical Evidence (Class D felony)
-Traff. Cont. Sub 1st Deg, 2nd or > Off-Methamphetamine (Class B felony)
-Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
Phillip D. Benson, age 40 of Murray, KY faces charges:
-Traff. Cont. Sub 1st Deg, 1st Off- Methamphetamine (Class C felony)
-Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
Randall Hardee, age 41 of Murray, KY faces charges:
-Poss. Cont. Sub 1st Deg, 1st Off- Methamphetamine (Class D felony)
-Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
All were arrested and taken to either the Calloway County or the Marshall County Detention Centers.
