MAYFIELD, Ky. (KBSI) – A 10-year-old boy from Mayfield who had been missing since Halloween night has been found safe.

Officers followed up on many leads since Monday in an effort to locate two juveniles who went missing. They have both been located and arrangements are being made for them to be reunited with their families, according to the Mayfield Police Department.

Police say the family of Zion McClendon says he left with a group to go trick-or-treating around 6 p.m.

He was wearing a black t-shirt that says “I’d rather be gaming” with gaming written multiple times in multiple colors. He was also wearing black shorts with white sandals. He had his face painted white with some red to simulate blood.

His group was walking in the Arbors and he separated from the group.

He was last seen walking toward the back of Arbors about 7 p.m.

McClendon was found and is safe.
