McCracken County deputies respond to single-vehicle crash on Said Road

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash with injuries Saturday night near Said Road and Greenfield Drive.
The collision occurred around 8:50 p.m. Oct. 25, according to the sheriff’s office.
A preliminary investigation found that Alaina Dowell of Paducah was driving a gray 2007 Dodge passenger van on Said Road when the vehicle reportedly hydroplaned and left the roadway. The van came to rest against a tree on its passenger side.
Dowell and her passenger, John Cureau of Paducah, were trapped inside the vehicle. The Reidland Farley Fire Department arrived and extricated both occupants.
Dowell and Cureau were taken to a local hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Reidland Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS and Stinnet’s Towing.
