McCracken County man arrested after Fentanyl, marijuana found in home

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A McCracken County man faces drug charges after detectives and probation officers found Fentanyl and marijuana in his home.

Joeshawn K. Starks 27, of Benton Road in McCracken County faces trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (Fentanyl), trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds, 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives and officers with the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole conducted a joint investigation that led them to the home of Starks at 3606 Benton Road in McCracken County in June 22.

Detectives and probation officers searched the home and found several Fentanyl pills and several pounds of marijuana, according to the sheriff’s office.

Starks was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

He was on parole for robbery at the time of his arrest.
