McCracken County man facing numerous drug, gun charges

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A McCracken County man faces drug and gun charges.

Jura Dailey, 38, faces charges of firearm enhanced trafficking in methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense, firearm enhanced trafficking in cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense, firearm enhanced trafficking in marijuana 2nd or subsequent offense, possession of a handgun by a felon, receiving stolen property-firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Monday afternoon on July 10, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a McCracken County man and charged him with numerous drug and gun offenses.

Over the course of the past two months the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office investigated numerous people suspected of being involved in trafficking in large amounts of crystal methamphetamine.

On July 10, just after 4 p.m., detectives with the drug division obtained and executed a search warrant at 504 Milliken Road Lot #18 in McCracken County.

The search warrant was pursuant to an illegal drug investigation.

Detectives found Dailey inside the home.

They searched the home and two vehicles on the property. They found more than a pound of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, two handguns (both of which had been reported stolen), and cash believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Dailey is a convicted felon and unable to lawfully possess firearms.

He was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Dailey has numerous prior convictions for drug trafficking. He was on felony parole. Dailey was out on bond out of Graves County on an unrelated felony case at the time of his arrest.

The Paducah Police Department and the Reidland/Farley Fire Department assisted the sheriff’s office.

The investigation continues.
