McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies warn of scam

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies warn the public of a scam.

Authorities say scammer continue with the “You’ve missed jury duty, a bench warrant has been issued, give us gift cards or you will be arrested” scams in McCracken County.

This time, they claim to be either Captain Mark Roberts (or he’s been demoted to Lieutenant in some calls) or Lieutenant Trent Hardin.

Deputies say the scammers are currently asking victims to call back at 270-515-7317.
