Metropolis Police Department asks residents to clean yards before Superman Festival
METROPOLIS, Ill. (KBSI) – With just days to go until the Superman Celebration in Metropolis, authorities there are urging community members to help the city shine.
The Superman Celebration runs Friday, June 9-Sunday, June 11. Celebrity guests include Tyler Hoechlin, Nicole Maines and Jesse Rath.

The Metropolis Police Department asks residents to pick up any trash they may see and mow their lawns.
Be courteous to everyone around you.
Watch out for pedestrians and be safe on the roads.
This is one of the busiest times for the city and they want to make sure they are putting their best foot forward.
